Papa Yaw
Papa Yaw Asenso-Okyere is a 12-year-old author, student leader, and creative with a passion for faith, excellence, and making a difference. He is an A-student enrolled in advanced classes and enjoys learning, leadership, and using technology to tell meaningful stories. He has experience in video editing, coding, and digital creativity, and he enjoys exploring new ways to express his ideas.
In 2024, Papa Yaw distinguished himself as an accomplished debater, earning 1st- and 2nd-place placements in debate competitions. He is also a competitive basketball point guard, a piano and trumpet player, and an active member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) club, where he connects faith with sports and leadership. He also volunteers with BeLED for Christ Ministry, where he serves underprivileged youth through outreach, sports, and evangelism. Like most 12-year-old boys, he enjoys playing outside, eating plenty of snacks, playing video games, watching movies, and relaxing with friends and family. Papa Yaw is recognized for his positive attitude, strong work ethic, and heart for inspiring others through faith, leadership, and creativity.
Akoma
Akoma Asenso-Okyere is an 11-year-old author, leader, and young entrepreneur with a bold voice, creative imagination, and heart for inspiring others. She is a confident and imaginative creator who enjoys expressing ideas through writing and hands-on projects that celebrate creativity, diversity, and self-expression.
Akoma is a natural DIY’er who loves bringing ideas to life. She also enjoys baking—especially making cake pops—and is always excited to learn new skills and discover new joys in baking. In her spare time, she loves watching shorts, TV, and movies, snacking, spending time with friends and family, braiding hair, and relaxing while exploring new creative ideas.
An A-student in advanced classes and an active student leader, Akoma balances academics with entrepreneurship, athletics, and the arts. She participates in gymnastics, volleyball, basketball, dance, piano, and saxophone, and she is an active member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). Akoma also volunteers with BeLED for Christ Ministry, serving underprivileged youth through outreach and community engagement. She is known for her positive attitude, confidence, and passion for encouraging other young people to embrace who they are and lead with kindness.
Nshira
Nshira Asenso-Okyere is a 9-year-old author and young entrepreneur with an energetic spirit, creative imagination, and strong love for learning. She is a hardworking student who enjoys sharing her ideas in fun and engaging ways that combine creativity, education, and joy, and she is passionate about encouraging other children to explore their talents with confidence.
Nshira loves Math and Reading and enjoys expressing herself through art and hands-on creative projects. In her spare time, she enjoys watching shorts, TV, and movies, snacking, and spending time with friends and family while dreaming up new creative ideas.
An A-student and active participant in school leadership, Nshira balances academics with athletics and the arts. She is involved in gymnastics, dance, volleyball, basketball, and piano, and she is a student volunteer with BeLED for Christ, serving underprivileged youth through outreach and community engagement. Nshira is known for her strong work ethic, positive attitude, and joyful approach to learning, creativity, and helping others.
